The Best Book.....Ever??

The other day at work I finally finished my hero Thomas Friedman's updated edition of "The World is Flat." It was so ultimate I can't even quote any of the sweet passages from it because just about the whole dang book is brilliant. This should be one of those books that every high school student/college student/graduate should read, and this field should be expanded into a whole avenue of study, because it is the best way to explain the world in its current state. Globalization is such a profoundly interesting subject, and so new, that it hasn't been fully explained yet, but it is easy to realize that the world will soon be a very different place. The most interesting thing too is that it doesnt just explain things in terms of like the global economy, but it relates to cultures, history, business, and geopolitics. I mean this guy talks about every thing one could imagine in this book, from global warming to oil to Dell to 9/11 and the contrast to the Berlin Wall!
*Please read his columns in the New York Times as well, because he's the best Op/Ed Columnist in the biz, and people know it. He was widely praised for these two columns he wrote a few months back slamming General Motors. This guy should enter into government service or something because he understands how the world works, because he's seen about 3/4 of it with his own eyes.
